Voice Lessons

My style of teaching is tailored to the needs of each individual student, from beginners to professionals in the industry.  Singing is a highly personal combination of technique and musicality. As a professional performer, I understand the demands of combining my visceral artistic instincts with a foundational technique, and I help each of my students find that balance. Some staples of my teaching include:

  • Tapping into your resonance to make your sound as efficient and easy as possible

  • Releasing tension to create an effortless sound

  • Finding your authentic voice

  • Developing a tailor-made and efficient warm up

  • Establishing healthy techniques for singing professionally, on an 8-show-a-week schedule

  • Building your repertoire list

  • Cutting songs to make audition and performance quality cuts

  • Coaching the acting intention of your song to make a performance ready final product
